El Chopo is a small hamlet about a ten minute drive to the popular village of Arboleas which has bars, bank, restaurants and shops.
The larger towns of Huercal Overa and Albox are about a 20 minute drive. The coastal towns of Vera and Mojacar are approximately 25 minutes away.
